My plans to make 2015 the best year I can…

This year, I hope to make it the best year yet. I plan to go to howletts for their photography experience as it is something I have always wanted to do but could never afford. Another plan I have for 2015 is to go to Paris for the day with one of my closest friends. Obviously once the terrorism has stopped because that won’t be the nicest thing is, would it! And a final plan/goal I have for this year is go zorbing for the day because it sounds amazing!
Sorry for this post being so short but I thought I would just mention my plans for 2015.

LOLA AND LILY

Sadly my baby boy, Liquorice (he is a guinea pig, not an actual baby don’t worry) passed away in October 2014! A week before my birthday, poor little munchkin! But yeah, berty is still alive and is getting big, bless him!

There is now two new little baby girls in addition to the family of guinea pigs!… Lola and lily! They are rosette guinea pigs as you may be able to see they have little rose-like crests in their fur!.. Adorable!!

Above is my little lola, she is actually quite big now, I got her in October shortly after liquorice passed away. So, lola and lily are 5 months old as they where already two months old when they where in the shop.

And then, below is a cute photograph of lily.

Best of 2014.

2014 had some pretty good moments and I thought I would list some of my best memories.

-Started college at the end of 2013 and finished my first year in July 2014 with a distinction grade.
-Met two great people who are now my closest friends!
-Went to a local theatre a few times and saw Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin
-I got my first proper job at the end of the year
-I applied for universities and got accepted by one and got asked to come in for an interview for another
-I turned 18 and celebrated it with one of my closest friends on a night out

But the best memory of 2014 was seeing how happy my mum was when we went to a show up in London for the first time since she got ill.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS.

New years resolutions are great but the only problem is, everyone I know always sets themselves the goals at the beginning of the year to lose weight, to do this, to do that…but when a few months go by, the goals fade away and everything you used to do comes back into action.
So, my idea, to make sure I do more things in my life and to ensure that I am more productive with my time…I have decided to set myself little resolutions of the week (small goals, such as; read the news everyday, read a book, take photos, write a blog post more often…).

I know this is a short post but take my word for it, this system is working for me, try it and it may work for you too!…xx

Baby guinea pigs -lola and lilly

We now have two new additions to the family!! Lola and lilly!! They are so cute, lola has beautiful, soft brown and white fur. Lilly is slightly smaller and has tufty whitel, black and light brown fur.
We have had them both for a few months now and have noticed that they are quite domineering of each other due to the small cage, so we have now realised that a bigger cage is needed.
We hadn’t even thought of it because our other two guinea pigs; berty and (liquorice who has sadly passed away) they had to be separated because they started fighting as they are boys and the size of cage that the girls are now in together is what berry lives in on his own.
But yeah, we have looked at different types of cages, two tiered cages, diy cages and longer cages.

Revolution eye shadow pallete review

This revolution eye shadow pallette is a beauty, I have been reaching for this alot lately and I thought I would do a post on it.
The shades are mainly shimmer with a few matte tones here and there. There are many different looks that you can create with this pallete. For example; the main one I go for is the white shade on the inner tear duct with a wash of the pink shimmer over the entire eye lid. This is so quick and simple to do, then I finish off the eye look with a simple winged out cat flick with black liquid eye liner. I normally go for the pen nib liquid eye liners as they are easier to use.

Kim kardashian let’s one year old daughter loose on Hermes Tote bag

This is hilarious! Why spend that much money on a designer handbag, when your just going to let your one year old daughter paint it for a birthday present? It’s crazy what rich people do!
In the Sun newspaper today, it has been said that they feel that this paint splattered handbag is a winner. Whether they are joking or not, I don’t know, but seriously…why is Kim K going out with the bag? It doesn’t look good, it’s slightly tacky and she is stalked by the press 24/7 surely she would want to go out with better accessories than a painted designer hand bag? Yes, I understand that she may feel that it’s cute and what not. But for one, it’s not right to spend that much on a handbag then let your one year old paint it and two, she has a lot of money and a reputation, going out with that is going to make her look bad, surely?!

Anyway.. Rant over…

My most and least favourite foods and meals.

This is just a little random blog post today so I hope you enjoy.

I would say that my all time favourite food has got to be chicken pie as it is just so tasty. This has been my favourite food for years and it goes really well with my next favourite food.. JACKET POTATO!! This is the nicest food I’ve ever tried, mainly because it is simple to cook and it can have many different varieties of toppings. Such as… Beans and cheese, tuna and cheese, vegetables and gravy. Yes, I do love my easy and quick meals as you can see.
But I also love meals such as, lasagne and chilli con carni. These would have to be my all time favourite meals, because they are so tasty and full you up so that you don’t feel like you need to eat loads of other things in the cupboard that are bad for you. Like Reese’s peanut buttercups for example. Even though they are also very tasty! Haha.

Then it comes to my least favourite meals and foods. I would have to say that Brussels sprouts have got to be my absolute nightmare food item right now!! They taste disgusting in my point of view. Also, raw tomatoes are simply the grossest thing I’ve ever eaten, they taste so bitter and vile.

So there you have it, my favourite food, my favourite meals and the foods that make me want to vomit!

My experience at The ‘Expression’ ceramics shop.

Today, we went to the Expression ceramic shop and in there you can create all different sorts of arts and crafts.
We first arrived there and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. After siting down and putting our bags down, we chose a ceramic pot to paint. I chose a cupcake pot, my mum chose a jug like pot and painted it different shades of blue.
The paints were made up of water based clay with coloured pigments within it. And we have been shown what the creations look like before thy go into the kiln and after. And wow! The difference is extraordinary! The colour appears more vibrant and has a glossy finish to it.
I am very happy with my experience at Expression and it was so relaxing to paint the ceramic pot. I loved it!
